🎵 How to Set Up Your Gakai Device

✅ Step 1: Create Your Gakai Account

1. Go to gakai.co/register.
2. Fill in your details and click Sign Up.
3. Confirm your email if prompted.

🎧 Step 2: Connect Your Spotify Account

1. Log into your Gakai Dashboard.
2. Click the Connect Spotify Account button.
3. You’ll be redirected to Spotify to log in and approve access.
4. Approve the integration.
   (Gakai never stores your Spotify password—authentication happens securely on Spotify’s site.)

Once connected, return to your dashboard. Play any song or podcast in Spotify and your Gakai Dashboard will show real-time playback within seconds.

💡 Step 3: Link Your Gakai Device

To display album art and track details on your Gakai Matrix, link the device to your account:

🔥 Device Setup Instructions

1. Power on your Gakai device.
2. Wait for the LED screen to display No Wi-Fi.
3. On your phone or laptop, connect to the Wi-Fi network named gakai.
4. A setup page will open listing available Wi-Fi networks.
   Select your home network and enter its password.
5. After connecting, the device shows a QR code and a 5-digit link code.

📱 Link via QR Code (Recommended)

1. Scan the QR code with your phone.
2. Log in to your Gakai account when prompted.
3. The device will link automatically.

🔢 Link via 5-Digit Code

1. Go to gakai.co/dashboard and log in.
2. Enter the 5-digit code displayed on your device.
3. Click Link Device.
